Canine Castle offers Clipping, Grooming and Bathing for both Dogs and Cats, please see below for our rates.

.Dogs (Clipping, Grooming / Demoult & Bathing) :

Clipping:

A full clip includes washing, fluff drying, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Your pet’s hair will be styled to your specifications, where possible. Sometimes knots and matting in the coat limits the style possible for your pet.

Grooming / Demoult

This includes brushing out all the dead hair, washing, fluff drying, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. Some scissor tidying of feet and trousers can also be done if requested and is included in the price.

As all dogs differ in size and coat texture, even within their breed, only approximate prices can be given.

Bathing:

Your dog is washed in a Herbal Shampoo, rinsed with clean, warm water and towel dried.

Prevention:

If your pet is professionally groomed every 4 – 8 weeks, then his tangles can be brushed and combed out. Any length of time after this means that he may have knots, which we cannot brush out (it hurts him), therefore, we have to cut them out. Left for too long a dog’s coat becomes matted, which necessitates the use of electric clippers to remove the matted areas.

Tummy Clip Only:	$38.00

Bathing & Fluff Drying Only:	$38.00 - $65.00

Full Clipping, Bathing & Fluff Drying:	$65 - $75

All cats’ nails clipped as part of the service.

No sedation ever given.

Your pet soon realises that jumping around gains him no praise, only a growly voice, but that praise follows immediately he does the right thing.

We don’t expect 100% co-operation from a new client and experience helps us to cope with his wriggly behaviour. After one or two appointments at Canine Castle 98% of our clients realise just how good we make them feel and are happy to relax and enjoy their day at the salon.
